The Lenny Martelli Foundation is non-profit organization that aims to obtain & preserve the highest quality of life for spinal cord injuries through community outreach, awareness programs & fundraising events.

Our mission directly impacts people living with spinal cord injuries & their families. Through community outreach & fundraising, we support these individuals in improving their quality of life.

A spinal cord injury (SCI) is damage to the tight bundle of cells and nerves that sends and receives signals from the brain to and from the rest of the body. The spinal cord extends from the lower part of the brain down through the lower back. SCI can be caused by direct injury to the spinal cord itself or from damage to the tissue and bones (vertebrae) that surround the spinal cord. Our foundation was started from Lenny's music royalties & is now entirely funded by the generosity of our sponsors & donors. We raise money through both online & in-person fundraisers; including our annual Music Therapy Night benefitting the music therapy program at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
